Mock transfer

I go to my mock transfer today. All this is happening fast and I am excited for our IVF journey. Hopefully it will be the last. Any thing I need to know about the mock transfer?

mock transfers are just like and IUI minus the sperm part. Its just to make sure the catheter fits in easily before your actual transfer. You may have some cramping, but for all of my mocks I also had saline ultrasounds, so that probably caused my cramping. Good luck!

Oh and mock transfers are usually quick and easy.

My mock transfer was painless because there want any saline used. It's obviously a way for the doctors to make more $ but at least you'll know what to expect!! Best of luck to you!!

When do they do mock transfers? I've read about this, but didn't see it in my IVF cycle plan.

It was nothing! Similar to a PAP. My RE told me it's to measure my uterus so they know where to implant the embryos.

He had a resident with him. I think before this is all said and done, the whole world will see my vagina!! LOL

Ha! I think the whole world has seen mine just from testing/surgeries. Now I guess they get to see it a second time! It must be beautiful :)

The transfer for me was easy some cramping but it was OK. And ya about the whole world seeing the V that's how I feel too lol my doc told be I have a beautiful uterus Lol well let's hope that's a good thing and it can help make a baby better !!! Prayers to all and lots of ********Sticky Baby Dust********
