Sounds normal to me. I have a question though- do you ovulate regularly? I hate lupron and never got pregnant on a cycle using it (lots of people do so don't let that scare you) but I do ovulate regularly and I got to the point where I refused to take it and instead timed out my cycle using an ovulation predictor. 2 cycles of 7 were "natural" (ie no lupron) and those are the2 I got pregnant. Point being if you ovulate on your own, you don't need lupron.

There are lots of people who swear there are permanent side effects of it. I don't think I have any, but it was by far the worst IVF drug I had to take over the years. My advice when taking it is 1) clear your schedule so you can lay low in case you do get headaches. You will likely be tired. 2) watch your sugar/carbs. I wish someone had told me how easy it would be to put in weight during this time. I was Eating to comfort myself and have had hard time getting it off afterwards.

Again, the majority of IVF cycles use it and it gets BFPs, I just wanted to point out that if you ovulate on your own, you can go without it.

A lot of Doctors use Lupron for an FET to suppress you from ovulating and get you on there time schedule. I just had an FET yesterday actually and I only used estrogen to suppress my ovulation, worked like a charm. It was nice not using lupron because it was a much quicker cycle. I can tell you that I absolutely hate Lupron, got so many headaches but I am a headache sufferer in general so I think it magnified it. I have heard a lot of ladies on here who had no side effects from lupron so hopefully you are one of them. Don't cancel the cycle, trust me it is not that bad and we can do anything we set our minds to and if that gets us pregnant in the end then so be it! Best of luck, hope this FET is all you need!

My first 3 cycles I was on lupron and had no noticeable side effects. Since I started IVF again this year I did not use lupron last cycle and this cycle i had headaches but I am still having headaches on the stims.. It might be something else entirely causing headaches. The worst med for me was the dex(steroid) because it caused intense hunger feelings.

I don't remember anything crazy with Lupron as I remember reacting with the Clomid (That stuff messed me UP in the crazy dept.) It's two different drugs I know. With Lupron I get a little fatigued and weepy but nothing thats too hard to handle. Honestly I have heard more horror stories about Clomid than anything else on here.
25 days seems a little long to me but it's based on what your body is doing and what it needs so apparently the doc thinks you need that many days of Lupron. Will you be starting the drug part at the end of next month going into Nov? Don't be nervous because of other stories on here. Everyone reacts differently. Keep us posted when you start taking it skuhn.

I had no side affects whatsoever from my meds from my fresh cycle. A little uncomfortable after the trigger, but that was it. I'm probably just being over paranoid. Thanks ladies!
