i was having such a good day then.......all hell broke loose. i got a phone call from one of my friends that was a bridesmaid. her husband just got deployed. he leaves tomorrow for iraq. then i got a call from my bf, one of her friends called her in tears and told her that she had just had an abortion. my bf told her that if she had only called first she had someone (me) that would have adopted the baby. her response was that she couldn't stand to let someone else raise her child!!!! can you believe that?!?!?! someone else can't raise her child, but she can kill it??????? i'm so lost right now.

I have always had a hard time comprehending that. I mean I know it's not my body or life, But I just don't think I could justify that. I am really sorry that you had to deal with that. Try to enjoy your week end.

Or how about when you see a mom complaining about her kids and she can't even take care of them....but she keeps having them! Some women are just so lucky, they don't even realize it!

Everybody has to make tough decisions about reproduction -- when it comes unexpectedly or when it doesn't come the usual way. I'm sorry for how awful this makes you feel. Maybe your feelings are a sign about what direction to take.

I am truly sorry to hear about the ignorance of that girl!!! My sis was blessed with 2 children, 1 when she was in college, and she aborted it, and now she has the most precious 2 y/o dd, that she pawns off on anyone willing to watch her. So I completely understand what you are going thru!
Things will get better, think happy thoughts, tomorros is Friday (TGIF), and its spring! I hope you feel better soon!!!

It's so sad to think of someone doing this but these days most people don't want to pay when they play. It makes it even harder on us when we try so hard and nothing happens. I know exactly how you feel sweetie and nothing we can do or say will change the sadness of knowing that one irresponsible person killed an innocent life but I'm sure that the baby is in God's hands getting all the love it needs from our father! I hope that thinking of it that way may help in some way, it seems to help me to think that all of those babies are with their creator, being given the greatest love in the whole universe!

I went through something simular to that a few weeks ago. My brothers girlfriend had an abortion and I yelled at him and cried for letting her do it when he KNEW that I had been trying so hard to have a child. I was ticked off so bad!! I felt hurt and alone because no one understood what I was going through. And then I got on here and voiced my concerns. Made me feel better. People do stupid things and she and my brother are going to have to deal with that loss for the rest of their lives!! They are also going to have to deal with it when they get to the other side and God asks them why they didn't want the special gift that HE had given to them... so I know it hurts, but hang in there, one day at a time!!

I'm so sorry! I really don't have words to express....I'm just so sorry! I understand somewhat how you feel. I would feel the same way in your shoes!! Sometimes you just wish you could smack people! Stupid, stupid people. I wish this weren't so hard! Hang in there.
