For anyone who has been on this journey a long time, you have learned that there are few secrets in the business, a lot of money for the docs, and great pressure for them to keep their success statistics high. So if you don't respond to the standard protocols and don't produce viable embryos in 2 or 3 tries, you are a write-off them.

NOT SO with Andrew Levi in CT, who finally left a co-practice and thankfully set up his own office. He listens, will advise and go beyond the standard protocols to find any clues to problems. He was the only one who figured out that my estrogen levels were actually too high and terminating the embryo early. He is an acclaimed endocrinologist, great person. When I say the "only" one, I mean it - 7 years of ttc, and every top doc in the tri-state - nobody else took the time to figure it out. After 7 years, 3 mcs I now have beautiful healthy twins.

To all of you who are still on this rollercoaster of despair, I can only say that I know what you're going through. Only you can make the decision to keep going or accept the end of this chapter. But if you decide to keep going, you should take your destiny into your own hands and consult with someone for whom your pregnancy is more important than statistics.
