I'll still be on Lupron after I start the pill, but I don't start vaginal progesterone until after the transfer I think.

My body isn't liking the Lupron too much. My eyes have been super dry, I'm having a lot of discharge and a lot of tummy troubles! Nothing I eat is agreeing with me and my appetite is all but gone. Yuck.

@lalong I hope the extra Estrace is just what you need to kick your lining into head!

@lalong - I think having lining as a 6 is already great and you will have plently of time before your FET on 12/3. Good luck! I'm also on an obsene amount of estrogen. PIO stands for the progesterone shots that I've had to take 3 times already (although 2 cycles were cancelled a few days before). PIO is not fun. ARe you not doing the PIO or are you doing suppositories?

@kdeezy - Not sure about your lupron/BCP question, I was never on lupron, but did to BCP's before my IVF cycle. Also, you will probably do the progesterone a few days before the transfer. For my 3 cycles, I've started progesterone (the PIO) 5 days before transfer. I would assume you will do the same.

Didn't have a good check up today....on CD23 with 9 days of progeserone and 23 days of 12mg/day estrogen my crappy lining was a 4.5. Appears that I suck at estrogen and progesterone. they are going to still let me try for December as I will get my period this weekend and then build my lining again. But, I may be cancelled again, we will see.

Hi ladies! I will do my FET on 12/2! I did IVF in February with a BFP that ended in MC. I did another IFV in July with a BFN. Tried to do FET in September but was canceled due to an "unstable lining". Feeling really hopeful about this cycle!

Jat092311i am sorry for your news, I hope it still works out but I feel your pain about a canceled cycle. I was so mad and disappointed but no one to focus this frustration on.

Chimera1- my birthday is the 11th and my beta is the 13th. But like several of you have voiced concerns, how will Christmas be?

kDeezy- sorry you've been having a reaction with Lupron. I've been lucky, only itchy injection site for several minutes. I don't know, maybe it makes me extra bitchy and DHhas just been quiet about it! ;) My dr has me start Lupron on day 21 and as usual, around day 28 I start my next cycle so yes you should get your period. I believe it is a ovulation suppressant,

Hi girls, had my blood test on Sat and yes lalong I have been on estrogen to thicken my uterus and now I am taking progesterone since yesterday 2 pessaries 3 x a day. My transfer is Thursday:-) Good luck everyone!

I'm pretty sure my period is going to start any minute (I'm very crampy and emotional today) and I'm really nervous about my suppression check. An internal ultrasound is painful for me on my best day, and I'm not excited to try it on my worst. Although maybe it won't come since I'm still on Lupron? Who knows. In other news, I am already longing for the day when my alarm doesn't go off at 8pm to remind me to take my shots!

Transfer today!!! Embryo was beautiful as the embryologist said! Even better then my girls were! Here we go on 2ww!!!

I had what I guess you would call my baseline appt today (CD3) for my upcoming FET. Lining was a thin 2.5, but I have 15 days to increase that number. Until then, I will be 3 different forms of estrogen (pill, gel and suppository) and also taking viagra. Not looking forward to huge ta-ta's from the estrogen! Hah. Transfer date is now 12/18. :)

Congrats on your fantastic embryo transfer lalong. I have mine tomorrow and hope that we both get positives just in time for Xmas!

My FET is scheduled for 12/20. I like that it's around Christmas, because that's religiously significant for me. I pray that's a good sign, but I'm not feeling optimistic. I want to think the best, I really do, but it's tough after the roller-coaster of the last 2+ years. Best of luck to you. I hope 12/13 turns out to be your luckiest day EVER!!!

I just had a failed IVF cycle so I am jumping right back into it and doing a FET this month as soon as I get my period. I stopped the estrogen and progesterone on Monday. Does anyone know how long this stuff takes to get out of my system before I get my period? I just want it to hurry up and get here so that I can start again! Good Luck to all of you !

ematthews - I would think it would come any day now. I usually get AF 3-4 days after I stop progesterone. Welcome to the December club and good luck with your upcoming FET :)
