Hi ladies....
I'm job hunting in/near Boston area and my question is this:
During your IVF treatments / appointments / etc. how close should you be to the office or how far is okay? How often did you have to go in?
example: will I need to go into office every morning for a few days a week for several weeks? or will I only have to go in once a week or every other week?
If I take a job an hour away okay or do you think (obviously yes I should be as close as possible) but what would realistically be good?
So how far away do you live from your IVF treamtents and does that make it difficult?

How often you will need to go into the office will depend on your specific IVF journey. Are you starting from the beginning? Or have you already been diagnosed? Once I started the stims I have had to go in every other day for u/s and bw. I met a woman today who had to go in everyday since last friday. So it will really just depend on your protocol. I live about 40 minutes away from my office. Good Luck finding a job!! Do you already have an RE there?

Well I live about 45 minutes from the clinic we used for our last 2 IVF cycles. We were required to come in about every other am for blood work and u/s checks. This was probably about 5-6 visits. ER was early in the am, requiring restign the entire day. ET was also early in the am with 24 hr mandatory bedrest. The distance was not really an issue for us. I hope this helps, good luck!

I lived 2 hours and 15 minutes from my doc while doing IVF. You just do what you have to do. Normally you only have to go in every other day for about a week. At the end of that week I went in two days in a row before they decided I was ready for my ER. It gets a little crazy at the end but hopefully it will all be worth it for you.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
