When we first started this whole IF process over a year ago my obgyn referred us to an RE and IUI because my DH has slight morphology issues. When we went to the RE he acted like the morphology issue was no big deal and asked if we wanted to do IUI or timed BD. We opted for IUI cuz we thought it\'d be quicker. But, 14 months and 7 IUIs later we still do not have a baby. Our first IUI ended in a chemical pregnancy. 2-4 ended in AF, 5th ended in BFP but m/c at 11 wks and 6-7 ended in AF. So, now I\'m wondering if the IUI is even worth it. I\'m thinking about switching to just timed BD.
Yesterday when AF came I was ready to completely give up. But now that I\'m thinking a bit straighter I\'m weighing my options. I already bought sticks for my fertility monitor to just take this month somewhat naturally. I\'m pretty sure that my ovaries will still be stimulated so I don\'t even want to go in to check just to have them tell me I need to rest a month. If a miracle doesn\'t happen in June (which I\'m sure it won\'t) I\'m thinking maybe timed BD with follistim for July. I already have 1800IU of follistim in the fridge. Anyone out there have success with this combination?

I have heard of women using timed bed and it being successful. I heard the IUI only give you 5% more chance. My hubby has good swimmers so we are doing just that bedding at home with follistim. I have to wait for another month though. Let us know what you decide and good luck.

Thanks ladies. Every cycle my RE asks if we want IUI or timed BD and I\'m thinking maybe we should opt for the cheaper option next time.
