Today is our first appointment with the RE. We are hoping he will tell us that we can start IUI once I get my next AF. I have so many questions running through my head, but I can't seem to get them down on paper and I know we'll forget something. So i'm enlisting my sisters for help...What kinds of questions should I ask him????

I think it is really important to be able to do back to back IUI's---meaning they do one IUI then they do another one about 24 hours later. It increases your chances of conception a lot. Some RE's don't do it so I would ask about that. Good Luck today!!!!!!

I agree with kyspier. My clinic does back to back and I've heard that increases chances so you may want to ask that. I would aslo recommend asking what meds they will have you on with the IUI like injectibles although I am sure they will tell you that anyway. They usually give you tons of information at the consulations so I am sure they will give you all the necessary information. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

I'm going through my first IUI, but questions I asked were success rates and medication side effects. I had no idea when I initially went in what I needed to know or what to ask, but the questions just kinda came naturally as we were talking. Good luck with everything!

I think everyone has it covered. I like the idea of back to back IUIs. My doc hasn't done that with me and I am not sure why. I am going to ask...I have a suspicion it is insurance related. I have had 5 IUIs now - let me know if you have questions!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
