Since you had two IUI's back to back, and the first one was fine, it's likely that your cervix was just trying to close up shop for winter (as they say) and it made it more difficult for the Doc to do their job. They likely had to use that special "pincher shaped tool" to help hold the cervix which can cause more discomfort. Try putting your feet up and laying down a bit (this helped me).
