Hey everybody,

My husband and I have decided to move forwards with IUI's in the new year. As we are very hopeful i am very nervous to. I have never been through one what are other ladies experernices with them. Did they hurt, were they successful, how many have you tried. I need some info help me out please.

I have done two iui's. Both times I was super bloated afterwards. The second time there was some cramping/soreness but nothing horrible. Also, the second time around worked!! I'm six weeks pregnant and looking foward to our August 2012 baby!! Good luck with your iui!!!

I have had 3 iui's and they were all painless and took only a few minutes. It pretty much feels like a pap smear. My first two were BFN's and I am still in my 2ww for my third. Wishing you lots of luck!

Congrats helenator!! I have had two iui's and there was no pain or discomfort, still waiting for results on the second one....

No pain at all for IUI. We did 7 of them. You will lie there for about 10 minutes after then go on your way. I usually rested the rest of the day to hopefully help the swimmers get to the right spot.
