IUI failed!

So our second try at IUI failed! I really thought it worked. The meds really messed with my head. i thought I was pregnant until the moring of be bloosd test I woke up and knew I was getting my period. I went for the blood test anyway. I had to go to work and teach children. to make it worse there is 3 pregnant people at work. I was so upset and sad and just wanted to cry! Of course of all days I was being observed today! I was a mess when I got home last night. I was upset i only got 3 hours of sleep. But back to work with children and it was Parent Visitation Day. I had to hold my tears again all day. People say with children they dont get sleep. I rather be be up with a crying baby then up all night crying because i don't have a baby! I am just praying I can get some sleep tonight! thanks for letting me vent!

I get so sick of people saying enjoy the time because babies will keep you up at night. I'm like..well, I want to be up all night with my baby! grrr......if you haven't been through infertility....you just can't understand. I feel your pain.

Ugh, seriously?? Hate that... " Enjoy your freedom while you can ... enjoy your marriage first" blah blah blah. Well sorry YOUR pregnancy was UNwanted and YOU'RE not happy. Would you rather complain about NOT having a baby and feeling LESS of a woman- yeah let's switch and let me know how you feel then ... sorry about the failed IUI. Sending prayers (HUGS)

Sorry to hear that, I know how hard it is be stuck at work when all ya wanna do is curl up and cry. :( Sorry your iui didn't work. IF is so exhusting...people just don't understand.

Our second iui failed last week....it was a major blow for me as well. I had also convinced myself i was pregnant because of the damn progesterone. I plan on doing 2 more iui's before calling it quits with infertility treatment.

I hope that the disapointment passes quickly and you can focus on your next cycle. For me, its the only thing that helps me get past the crushing disappointment.....

Hang in there. I'm about to do #6 and I'm part of a couple that said we'd never do anything. Wishing and hoping a quick emotional recovery and on to the next steps. HUGS

I"m so sorry about your IUI. I found out about my failed IVF treatment yesterday when I was at work and getting through the rest of the day was one of the hardest things. I work in an office though, so I couldn't even imagine how hard it must have been having to deal with parent visitation day!! BUT, you know what, you made through the day, and you have to really take some time to appreciate what an accomplishment that is.

I'm so sorry. My IUI failed as well. I'm a music teacher and had a show last week. I thought for sure it would work, but AF came the morning of my veteran's day show. I just wanted to stay in bed and cry, but I had to come to work and act all happy. Don't give up. It will happen for us I have to believe that!

So sorry to hear of your failed IUI! I felt EXACTLY the same way with my own IUI last month. Unfortunately, mine also failed. Praying that you are able to recover from this and that your next cycle is the one that works!

I agree with all of you! Can't people keep their "well intentioned" advice to themselves? I'm so tired of:

"If you stop trying, it'll happen" --Sorry, infertile.. I need the drugs

"Don't ever have kids, they're so much work!" --Don't worry I might not...

"Why don't you just adopt" --why don't you just get a nose job??
(not that adoption is bad!!! I just hate when people say this to me!!!)

I am so sorry. I remember how I felt after a failed IUI and it was crushing. Give yourself a while to morn and feel sad, you deserve a little time to just feel bad about all this.

Feeling so sorry for you! I'm a teacher and hear you about how hard it is to be there for all those kids and stay positive when life isn't being fair to you. Hope you found time to shed those tears and keep venting...it helps all of us. Hang in there.

I am sorry to hear about your failed IUI but don't give up. I had a failed IUI and failed IVF cycle. I am on my FET cycle now and hope this will work.
It must be extra hard to be around children every day. Keep your chin up and stay strong. I always tell myself it will happen one way or another.
I also understand about the annoying comments. My cousin's soon to be wife is pregnant and all she does is complain about it. I just want to grab her and say I would trade places with you in a heartbeat. She even said she would never do it again and would likely just adopt another child if they want one. ARGH.
My thoughts are with you.
