Hey Ladies!

I just met a lady at a fertility seminar tonight and she said that she had her son through IUI at 44! Has anyone tried that @ my age? Just wondering. I am about to go for another IVF cycle this summer, but wondering if that would be worth the effort???

Wow, that's amazing! I would say that if your doc says it looks possible and your eggs are strong, go for it!!

Another IVF cycle is totally worth!!! You are a great inspiration! I personally know three women your age who conceived and carried full term!! Actually once of them is due next month - so good luck!!!

I did 2 IUI's and 4 IVF's at age 42 and my final and successful IVF cycle at age 43 was DE. It can happen though and so I'm wishing you lots of luck! Sticky baby dust to you!

I did 7 IUI's, and only got pregnant once (blighted ovum). IVF has much better success rates, so if you have done IVF already I would not waste time on IUI. Just my opinion. Of course, your RE would be the best one to tell you.

I think this really just depends on your own situation. I am 41. When we did IUIs they failed. But IVF worked for us and I am approaching 30 weeks pregnant. If your RE recommends IVF, I would do that simply because the success rate is higher. Good luck!!!
