Courage, Strength, and Hope

I agree with Marisa...just tell them that you love them, that you're happy for them, but right now its just really tough for you to see them at that happy place. Tell them you appreciate their understanding and you just need some time to get used to it and you'll be ready to rejoin the group. Or make a joke of it, wear a pillow under your shirt and when they gawk at you, go "What? I didn't want to be the odd man out!!!" lol sorry i usually look for the funny way out :)
GL in whatever you decide to do. Your DS sisters are here if you skip the movie...we'll hang with you :)
I literally wrote nearly the same posting just over a week ago. My two friends from high school and I was also in your position. I stressed and cried about it all week, worried about what i should do. I ended up breaking down right before I had to go to my husband, and he told me to cancel. Infertility is hard enough and it is just so much harder when it's in my face and I have constant reminders. I ended up going and there were times of laughing but also uncomfortable moments; breastfeeding conversations and they made plans in front of me for a baby play date... To be honest, I should not have went. I knew in my heart that I shouldn't go, but I went only because one of my friends is moving away. If you feel like you can't go, I wouldn't put yourself through it. You could be honest with your friends, if you want. But if you just don't want to go there, you can always say you aren't feeling well or your parents are having a dinner that night... Do whatever is less stressful on you.
MomHopes- Hang in there. I feel for you and understand you completely. All of the women here have felt the exact things you are feeling. We are all in this together... Sounds really weird and sappy, but kind of true...
I hate being "that couple".
Welcome to the team!!
(I'm trying to be uplifting)
I am so, so with you. I am now the only one of two of my friends who have not had a baby, and the other one happens to be to concerned about her body being ruined to want to get pregnant.
It sucks!
And I also hate how very common everyone else is making breeding seem, there just isn't anyone who's single and childless anymore.
Where have all the good time girls gone...oh married with children..yes plural, they've had 2 since I settled down.
Bastards, so fucking selfish the lot of them!!
Really, who the hell do they think they are to be breeding before I have, do they not know any better, they are undeserving people who will never know hardship, and I for one have such an abundance of it there's enough to share...just that I wouldnt wish my 10years+ of trauma, tragedy and tears on my worst enemies.
FFS!!
When will it end!>?!
Sorry to rant like a loony on your post, just had to let it out a little.
