This is such a frustrating situation. I'm not sure how I'd react if my husband refused to get tested. I'm not sure how long ago his early 20s was, but if it was a while ago, plenty could have changed, and the issue could certainly be with him. Or it could be a combination of a moderate issue with him and your PCOS, but either way requires both of you to be on board with looking into the issue. If he refuses to look into fertility treatments, though, then it feels like you don't have many options. Again, so frustrating. I'm really sorry you are having to deal with this.

Sorry to hear your husband not being on board with fertility treatment. That is frustrating to go through and I can't even imagine. Maybe the doctor can educate your husband on the fertility medications and treatment options. Sending prayers.

Have you tried any medication with timed intercourse? Or considered letting your doctor look and see if you have endometriosis. There are things you can do to try without your husband being tested or doing full IUI or IVF. I am sad that he is not more supportive of your dream to be a great mother! Dont give up!

Thank you all for the kind encouraging words! I do wish my husband was more willing to go through testing as well to see where he stands so we can be open to more options .His way of being supportive is reminding me that if its ment to be then God will let it be and if I feel like I need IVF or fertility meds then im not showing much faith in Him.I understand where hes coming from but however,dont see the harm in taking advantage of the science behind helping this dream of conceiving our child come true.

If that is his approach, then maybe you could point out to him that if everything happens through G-d's will, then IVF and fertility treatments exist because of G-d's will as well. They wouldn't have been developed and made available to us otherwise, and now that they are available, why couldn't it also be G-d's will to allow IVF and fertility treatments to help us achieve our dreams? If it's ultimately up to G-d and it is not meant to be, then IVF and other fertility treatments won't work, and if it is meant to be, then the treatments will work.

To be clear, I am not saying I agree with this or that I believe that when fertility treatments work or people get pregnant naturally, G-d has deemed them worthy, whereas when they don't, the opposite has occurred. But I'm just trying to give you an argument that perhaps your husband will be receptive to. It sounds like he just wants to rely on a miracle happening, and maybe sometimes you have to put in the effort (i.e., do everything you can) to get to your miracle without it just falling into your lap. And that's where fertility treatment can come in if you are able to access it.

It would be great if yr hubby tests his semen, as it might worse since then. I can't really help with any advice, however a friend of my sis underwent IVF in at top IVF clinic in Gdansk and got pregnant. Good luck

Science and God go hand in hand with one another. I've always believed that. It is disappointing that your husband is against other fertility options. My husband and I have been trying for a year and nothing has come of it. We've talked about fertility treatments, and the only thing stopping us right now is how expensive everything is.

Just wanted to add that infertility, whether male or female factor, is considered by CDC as a disease. If you had heart disease or cancer, wouldn't your husband be on board for you getting treatment? Infertility treatments are basically ways to treat the disease. Maybe if he looked at it that way he may be on board.
