I love reading your posts there is always food for thought, I think you`re so right ,I personaly have always considered myself a strong person but this IF is the hardest thing emotionally i have ever had to deal with, i am going to take inspiration from Mrytle and see if i can`t enjoy the sunshine before i get back on the rollercoaster that is IF treatments.

lizieie, thank you so much for what you've written. As a writer the way I seem to process everything is to write. If that is able to help any other woman going through this struggle, that feels like a bit of healing for me as well.

I do hope that you can absorb some warmth, joy, and happiness outside of your protective shell to give you the strength you need to reach the end of this journey, and motherhood. I believe every woman going through IF must be among the strongest on earth, yet I hope we take time to also remember our soft side.

Very uplifting. And Im defiently going to try to take some advice from Myrtle. I too have always been tough as nails kinda of girl. But infertility is the toughest most devesating thing I have ever experienced in my adult life. Its has taken its toll on me physcialy and emotinally.Was feeling down but this has brightened my spirits. I just got to keep going after every fall. Only the strong survive. Thanks for your post.

I tend to have a tough shell on the outside sometimes too. The last 4 years have brought on a lot of tears, anger, and pain in general and yet I keep picking myself up, dusting myself off and changing the plan yet again in hopes that I will someday finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and have my baby. It has definetly gotten rid of my fear of doctors. I have had so many unpleasant experiences and injections at this point that when I enter the doctor's office my sleeve rolls itself up and my legs fall open without thought! LOL, kidding! It has made me tougher though. I just keep going because at least if, God forbid I don't have children, at least I will have no regrets because I took hold of the reigns and did everything in my power to stay in the race, win or lose! It's weird, I always feel like I'm fighting for this child that I don't know yet. A lot of women say that you don't know love until you have your baby and yet I have this intense love for a child who doesn't even exist yet and whom I'd do anything to meet! Hope that doesn't sound too crazy!

Thats so true Kim I totally understand what you mean feels like we`re fighting for our children before they have even been born doesn`t sound crazy at all in fact it`s the best explanation of how i feel that I`ve heard in a long time hope you meet your baby soon x

Lizeie has a point you always have great posts!! I wish I could be like Myrtle but if has crushed me a lot. I think I am going to try and repair my shell so I can keep going through the days ahead

I feel the same way kim. Sometimes I even ask my baby when will they finally come to me. Defiently my child cause its stuborn as hell. And only going to come I guess when its good and ready. lol Yours must be too. Hopefully they ll come soon.
