Hello my mame is Mere, I am 35 years old and am trying to concieve my first child. I've been trying to get pregnant for the last 5 months when I stopped taking my birth control pill. My boyfriend and i have been together for over 6 years and he has 2 children who live with us full time.
I am currently undergoing tests to find out exactly what is going on with me. First on Monday I'm having a folical test (because I barely started Clomid on Sunday) and he wanted to test me 10-11 days after the first day of my period. Then next month I will have my fallopian tubes tested to make sure there are no blockages or leaks.
I have always had irregular periods, and when I first stopped taking the pill I got them pretty regulary only a few days late. The last period came 25 days LATE, but finally came then I took Clomid as directed.
I am just stressed because I am already 35 years old and I'm just dying to be pregnant. I've wanted to have children for as long as I can remember. I've been pregnant before (when I was 21) but was unable to stay pregnant at that time.
So I'm HERE and hoping to get to know people here and hear about their stories, and advice to help me through my journey to having a baby!

I have been TTC for two years. First year w/o fertility help, second with. I did what sounds to be the same round of tests. I had the "die test" to check for blockage. That came back good. Process is just uncomfortable. They told my I have PCOS. Put me on Glucophaugh to control or help with that and Clomind. Tried Clomid for three months with no success. I wasn't getting a period on my own b/c I was having trouble ovulating, they say that's why I was unsuccessful with it. Try not to get frustrated with the side effects. Hot flashes, irritability, kinda like PMS at it's highest level. I am currently starting the process of IUI and injectables.
