So, it's my first cycle of Femara,I ovulate on my own but not consistently, or "qaulity". I am on femara to try to create more follies as well as to help me ovualate better...
Ok, Here's the story:
yesterday I had a (very close to) positive LH surge... the five days before no line, or very slight. Yesterday it was dark- just about the same shade as the test line. I did it in the AM, and PM- both times dark... I also had ovulation pain. Well, I thought the pee stick would be even darker today, BUT nope back to very faint. I had an U/S at 7:30 this morning (midcycle, I am on Day 16)... I thought for sure I would have more than one follie... with the tenderness I have been feeling and all. Guess what- NO MATURE follicles at all!!!! One that was a mere 11mm on my left (where my pain has been) and some little guys, and a few little guys on the right. UGHHHH, I just about burst into tears right on the U/S table. What the hell?????????? I am on this drug to help, I am better off on my own. I asked the nurse if I may have already OV, she said usually they see some sort of "residue" in the U/S if that's the case. Hmmmm... I told her my symptoms/story she called the RE and got back with me this PM. Now I have to wait till next week to get my progesterone checked, to see if I did OV or not. I have no idea what to think... is this 11mm sucker gonna get bigger and I will just OV LATER?????? Why do I have tenderness????? AHHHHH...... I am just devested, any ideas/thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry for the vent.....

I was on Femara. We just did it to up our chances, because I always ovulated regularly.
One of my friends was on Femara, but more than one a day. I think 5. She then got like 3 follicles from that. Good luck!
