I have done 4 prior cycles with clomid, last 3 able to do IUI. I'm currently finishing up with clomid and getting ready to start 3 days of follistim--my first hybrid cycle. Put on hybrid bacause my RE thinks that we are achieving fertilization but implantation is not working. I understand the theory behind how this should help...but anyone else have some real experience with this?...symptom difference vs just orals, success rates? Thanks in advance.

Just curious, how does your RE determine that you are achieving fertilzation but not implantation? I've never heard of that before...

During the cycle in question I had spotting on days 9-10 and then nothing. AF finally arrived about 5 days late. He said that if AF is more than 2-3 days late after a known ovulation via trigger, that it is likely that fertilization happened and there was an "attempt" at implantation but that it did't work and thus the late AF. So you can't prove that fertilization happened but this was the reason for suspecting it.

BTW the day "9-10" was in the 2ww post trigger/IUI.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
