My husband and I have been trying to concieve for 2 years now. We have recently started infertility treatments. We are in our second set and my body has not responded to the treatments thus far. I am concerned that this will not work and how far to take these proceedures. I have a strong faith in the Lord and feel that if I take the treatments into invetro then maybe I am playing with "my plan."

I completely understand where you are coming from. I am a christian too and also a pastor's wife. It scares me all the time that we have went too far in our fertility treatments. My RE hasn't suggested IVF yet, but has started mentioning IUI and it scares me to death. I desperately want a child, but I want God's will for my life more. Sometimes it's difficult to know what to do. I just pray every day that He will guide our decision making and show us what to do. I know that not everyone is meant to have children, but as a woman that is very hard to face. I'm so glad I saw this post. I was beginning to think that I was the only one with these kind of feelings.

I understand your concerns... I struggled after my miscarriage with the thought that maybe God was angry with me for trying IVF. The Lord has given me a peace about that and I don't feel that way any longer. I just really didn't want to have any regrets. I wanted to know that I tried everything that I knew to do...within reason. I also am a Christian and will pray that God will give you and your husband guidance.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
