Ive had it!!! I am so sick of this! My mother is an insensitive idiot, I HATE HER right now.
After much insistence from my mother about the dangers of Clomid, DH and I decided to go and see a natural fertility specialist. However, due to this guy wanting to charge us $280 per person per month to treat us and having all the other regular bills, doctors appointments, mortgage etc which would mean almost $3500 per month in expenses, I was telling my mother this morning that we probably were looking at me taking the alternative medicine as it is similar to what my ob/gyn is doing anyway but DH would probably not get the treatment as my ob/gyn feels that his sperm is fine and we really cant afford it.
Well OMG! Mother did not approve, as according to her (and because I guess she must be a fertility expert or something) the problem we are having is my DH and thus, WE have to treat him as well as me, otherwise it is all a waste of money and time When I told her I simply didnt have the cash, she told me that then we should just wait till I have a job (I still have a year of my Doctorate left) as there was no point in trying otherwise as it would all be a waste of time and money How can she be such a BITCH, we have been trying for two years, we have been pocked, prodded, analysed, pumped full of drugs, and all she can say is, THERE IS NO POINT! How can she say this to me! How can she just say we should wait Wait for what! For it to be too late! All the doctors say dont leave it any longer, the longer you leave it the worse it will get and she comes up with that little gem all I need is support right now, someone to tell me things are going to be o.k but all I get is Oh, it wont work
I am so distraught right now Im crying while I type this, it all feels so unfair, so hard and so heart wrenching. Disappointment month after month after month with no end in sight and there is NO ONE and I mean NO ONE willing to say, give it a go, it may just be your turn next it is all just too much right now
