Ok so things are rolling right along! We get our refi check today (which will end up being about $21,000) enough to cover the adoption, not the legal fees. We will come up with that money though. Our Home Study (HS) is happening SOOOOOO fast now. I have my individual and home meeting on Wednesday the 10th while DH is traveling for work. Then when he gets home he has his individual interview and our couples interview on Monday the 15th. I am working on the rest of our paperwork today and we will finish up some shopping tomorrow. There are a few things we need for the house (smoke detector for the basement and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen). Our nursery is ALMOST finished. Waiting on the rig we ordered and have to buy a rocking chair still. Everything else is done. I'm working on a family tree scrapbook, but I'm hitting some resistance from some of those family and friends sending me pictures. I'll work around that though. Things are just moving so fast! We are so excited. We signed up for "baby born" so there is the potential of getting a baby right away. That would be crazy!!!!! Anyway that is what is going on. I'll post some pictures of the nursery and the picture my DH and I had done for the holidays as soon as I can figure out how to use the new scanner.
