I am trying to live life as it is given to me right now, rather than gazing at what I hope/long it will be. Perhaps when I learn this acceptance, a new reality will welcome me.

I was really touched when my friend sent this to me. I didn't realize how much I was struggling with the difference between acceptance and giving up, and this reminded me that I don't have to give up on my dream to live in a place of acceptance with "what is" today.
