After my miscarriage in January AF came this past Saturday and I started on Follistim 2 days ago. I have an appointment tomorrow morning for an ultrasound to check my follicles.
I'm excited but scared to be TTC again. My RE had several blood tests run for me to check for possible causes for my m/c. He said they all came back fine with the exception of one test for something called IGM which is some type of antibody. He explained that he doesn't think this was the cause of my m/c but just to be safe he has me taking 81mg aspirin. The aspirin thing scares me b/c prior to this test coming back he told me not to take it cuz I had so much bleeding during my pg. I told him my concern and he said if I start to bleed again to stop the aspirin immediately. Why does this have to be so complicated!!
Anyway, please keep us in your prayers. I would be so excited if this cycle works for us!

I was wondering if follistim bothered you when injected? It seems to give me a weird feeling. Good luck to you.

The actual Follistim shot does not bother me. It's actually pretty painless. I did read in the instructions that you should let it get to room temperature before injecting. If you inject it while it's still cold that may be why it feels weird to you.
