I am having such a hard time dealing with this! I feel so empty now that the doctors have removed my fallopian tubes. I have been going through so much lately. Before i went to surgery my husband wages were garnished for some very foolish reasons and we went almost 2 months with no financial suport. Then are accounts finally unfroze an i went to surgery the next day. Having my tubes removed effected me more than i realized a couple days ago. Lately i have been crying an upset for no specific reason. I can sleep nor eat correctly. All my searches on the internet have consisted of infertility an ivf. I am begining to obsess. I have been stuck in bed for almost a week now and its literally driving me insane! My husband has been very suportive and so have you guys. Im trying not to slip into depression but i am so sad and no longer no how to "think positive". I am loosing myself more and more day by day! Crying is becoming such a rutine for me.

I am so sorry for what you are going through. Sometimes it is impossible to be positive. I know it feels like the dark days will never end, but hope will return. Be patient with yourself while you deal with this and I hope you get some peace soon. Take care!

You have been through so much in a short amount of time- allow yourself to grieve. Take time to cry and scream and get it out, it's ok! When you're ready, you'll move on.
although the internet can be evil sometimes (I've forced myself to stop googling things and will actually come here for answers or call my RE instead), IVF may be your only option. I know right now that is dissappointing and scary, but it really is manageable, especially with support! Hang in there and when you're ready, we'll be here to help!!!!!

I am so very very sad for how you are feeling and what you are going through. I have been praying for you all, and your emotional healing. Time takes time. This is a big deal, and it will just talk time to grieve for parts of your body. The BIG blessing is your age though, your egg quality and the time that you have are on your side. I know it feels like your too young to go through this, but you have time to figure this out. Please try and find the gratitude in the little things, I know it is soooooo hard. We are here for you! I lost my left tube to an ectopic a year ago, and I have not been able to get pregnant again since. I got into an IFV clinical trail next month that I am so grateful for the opportunity. I am 33 so I really feel like I am coming close to running out of time. Be Well, be blessed

Thinking of you!! I hope this sorrow passes you soon. I found out in July that my only tube (I had one removed due to an ectopic pregnancy) would have to be removed too. I was devastated!! I cried uncontrollably for days, had chest pains from the anxiety and was full of negative self talk shaming myself for not being able to conceive the natural way.

We are all so much stronger than we think we are (even though it usually doesn't fee that way), and this too shall pass! Hang in there.

@rara thanks i know age is on my side in this situation and congrats on starting a clinical trial hope it turns out great. @rae i completely identify with you on being upset about not being able to conceive naturally its infuriating. Hopefully i'm passed the anxiety stage. To everyone else thanks so much i am trying to focus on the future and not dwell on this temporary situation.

I completely understand financial pressure. I difficult enough with the economy, but add on health problems-ugh! Are you exercising? Try getting 15 min. of sunlight early in the morning like a walk or eating breakfast outside. The Vit.D from the sun with improve your move. Hugs. If that doesn't help, please talk to your dr. Your dr. my know of a counsellor who does pro bono or minimal payments.

I agree with goldennote07. What you have is a loss and you need to be able to grieve that loss. I know that when we first started looking into adoption the first thing that one of the councellors asked us was if we had grieved for the loss of your infertility. if you have to cry then cry. if you have to scream then scream. if you need to be alone then be alone. if you need the help of others then we will always be here for you.

I had a partial hysterectomy several years ago. I had no idea how it would affect my emotions! I am blessed to have two healthy boys (now grown), do not desire to have a baby BUT WHEN I LOST THE OPTION I felt less than a woman. I can only imagine your pain with the loss of fallopian tubes. Stay strong. We are here for you.
