Hi, so still dealing with the MC but the only way I am surviving is to plan for the future. I've been talking to my dr about our FET. We found out the day of the retrevial that DH's sperm was dying within a few hours of collection. We had a SA a while back and everything looked great. My dr said this is not something they would normally catch. So now we know why the IUI and treatments haven't worked. We did ICSI that day and of the 14 mature eggs, 13 fertilized. But only 3 1/2 made it to the end (the 1/2 is one they said "almost meets criteria" so I am sure it wouldn't develop into anything). We transferred two good-excellent ones on day 3 and 1 1/2 make it to freeze on day 5. I was surprised by that # and asked dr about it. She said its a little low so now we are concerned about general sperm qualality. I have no idea of course but my mind starts wondering- was this quality issue the reason we MCed? Will we never be able to carry a pregnancy that will lead to a full term healthy baby?
So with all of that, we only have 1 1/2 embryos so I am debating if we should do FET with those odds or if another fresh IVF should be done. I don't want to waste time & money on such low odds. Its like $3500 for FET and $7500 for fresh IVF. If we do a fresh, I would use the frozen embryos also, of course I won't give up on either of them.

if it was me - i would do a fresh, .... you still have your frozen ones there and at the same time you can build a stock if that doesnt work out for you, its a hard one but ME i would do a fresh..
although i have been noticing that more people are achieving pregancys from FET than they are fresh.. which im debating myself about also .
@hope4lyf- FET is frozen egg transfer. Hehe I am still learning all the acronyms people use :)
We decided on the FET not because of the costs, but because of the time and emotions. The fresh cycle also has surgery, and you cannot plan the day of the week for the transfer. We chose a Friday FET, so I had the whole weekend to chill. In the end, it worked! I am 12 weeks pregnant now.
So I had a failed fresh cycle, followed by a FET 5 day transfer. Both times we only implanted 1 blastocyst. We are thrilled we didn't spend the extra time or money on a fresh cycle. I mean we are still trying to figure out what to do with our last embie. If we freeze it, the hope is to use it, right?
