Follicle Size?

When I had my IUI, the dr said there were three eggs, sizes 28, 26, & 15 (I think). What does this mean? I'm assuming the two bigger numbers are bigger eggs--& I read that once the egg is 18 mm it can be helped along with hCG. Does this mean my 28 & 26 are good sizes? I'm so excited!

Yes! 28 and 26 are great! any over 18 are great. The others will hopefully keep growing in the next few days. When is your retreival scheduled for?

those are great numbers. I only had 2 follies one was 19 and the other was 14. I took the trigger shot Friday and have been doing the baby dance since. I am now starting the dreaded 2ww.

On the way to the dr, my husband said that he doesn't want to do IVF ever. I was surprised. He said he doesn't feel right about it. I think his mother has gotten under his skin. I tried not to get naggy on him & just said, "That's okay, because this IUI is going to work!" I hope we don't get to the point where IVF is the best option (which I'm thinking would be soon if the IUIs don't work this summer), because I can see that causing stress in the marriage. I don't see how anyone could think it was immoral to help these babies into happy homes who are ready for them! Sheesh!
