I heard that CD1 is the first full day of bleeding! I started at 9 a.m. and called the RE for my baselines. She told me that the next morning would be my CD1!!! My clearblue easy fertility monitor says that if your AF comes "after" your set "m" time (6:30 a.m. for me) then your CD1 is the following morning! I usually start spotting at night and understand completely that CD1 is the next day, but why is it still the next day when I started at 9 a.m.?? My previous RE told me that if I start before the afternoon to consider THAT as CD1!!! Which is it? It would help con the conceiving thing if I had a straight answer!!

Hi htag, I received info from my infertility clinic that day one is considered the first day of full menstrual flow and if this occurs after 5pm day one is the following day.

Thanks DSJ. I was just making sure I wasn't losing my mind. I actually posted this on the discussions too, because I couldn't find it in the advice list after I wrote it. Thanks for your help!

My RE says CD1 is first day of full flow, even if it is at 11:00 PM. But, I know all doctors are different. Good luck.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
