Well, I was in my 2ww and it ended early today when AF arrived. I went to bed full of hope and excitement because I was so sure this was our month. Then at 5 AM I was awakened by cramps and sure enough it was AF. I feel so depressed and disappointed. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
I just joined DS this week so I'll quickly tell my story. DH and I have been tcc since July 2006. Right away we got pregnant and then I miscarried at 6 weeks. After trying for a year after that we finally had all the tests done. Everything was fine except DH was a little low on the % of normal forms so my doctor recommended IUI. We started seeing a fertility specialist. The first cycle he put me on Chlomid - it was awful. It thinned my uterine lining and for some reason my doctor still recommended trying the IUI that month. I just wanted a baby so bad I went along with it. Well, I got a BFP and we were so excited only for AF to arrive the very next day. I had a bio-chemical pregnancy. Then it took forever for my beta to go back to zero so we skipped the next cycle.
The cycle I was just in was my first with Femara. My doctor swiched me from Chlomid because of my bad reaction to it. The Femara cycle was going perfectly. I had no side affects and had 2 really large follies. DH's count and mobility was great. The IUI went smoothly. I was convinced this was our month.
I know this is only my second IUI and I've read so many posts about people having success on the 3rd or 4th but I just feel like it's never going to happen for us. I am so sick of this emotional roller coaster. Every single month for the past 2 years I feel like "this is it!" I analyze every little ache and pain in my body thinking I may have pregnancy symptoms. Then AF comes and I feel so depressed.
It shouldn't be this difficult.

Hang in there. This site has helped me tremendously. To have people who are going through the same experience, the same highs and lows is very comforting.
We just have to keep the faith that one day our BFP will arrive and it will be that much greater since we've been battling IF for so long!
