Ugh I get it. My best friend had a baby a month ago (her and her husband tried ONCE and got pregnant :-/) anyways one of my other friends asked if I'd host a shower for her. Fml, it's bad enough to have to fake it to her, but to have a house full of "moms" and their babies. And me with nothing in commen with them :-( it's so hard. Anyways, just remember that everything happens for a reason. Cheesy but it's true. Head up!

Thanks wendy32 and MRSstrong it gets a little better everyday. People just don't understand how painful this journey is. But this journey definitely makes a person stronger. We are fighters!

I know this post was from Monday. But I'm feeling broken as well. My husband and I have stopped trying and our adoption application was denied.

I can't help but think that if he was with some one else he would have a child by now. Instead he's with me, barren and now completely depressed.

That's terrible I'm so sorry. Also I've often had that train of thought re: thinking if my husband was with someone else he'd have a family by now. It's such a sad thing to think but it's also very toxic. Remember he chose you to spend his life with you, through thick and thin. I hope things start looking up for you.

My heart goes out to you! I basically spend my time reminding myself of all the things I am grateful for in my life, as if that will somehow make not being able to get pregnant better. I also have friends who have gotten pregnant on the first try and I try to remind myself that their lives have been just as hard if not harder in many ways than mine, so they are blessed that they didn't have to deal with yet another trial. It helps me feel better for them, but not really for myself. You will push through though. We don't really have another choice.

I am sorry to feel you have been feeling bad.Hope you are feeling better now that a week has passed. For me (one natural pregnancy that ended in miscarriage & several rounds of ovulation shots & 2 rounds of unsuccessful IVF in the past 2 years - the last negative result of which was 2 weeks ago), I go through 3-4 days of very bad crying and extremely moody days when I hear someone else get pregnant. Then I decide to go out with one of my single girlfriends and shop & get tipsy. I feel much better afterwards. Maybe it will also work for you. I had been crying all of last week and my single friend picked me up and took me out for a "single girls' day out". For the past 3 days since then, feeling much better.

In one day my two best friends both told me they were pregnant... Just two weeks apart. In that month I found out that 6 of my friends were expecting... It was the hardest month ever. Just this last weekend I hosted a double baby shower for the friends that are due so close to each other. While they discussed all the symptoms of pregnancy I cuddled my dog...yes my dog.... While I wanted to scream that I would do anything to feel those symptoms.

hold on and never give up! I'm sure, your dream to have a baby will come true!

Sorry Snailbug. I totally understand when you say that no one understands the journey. I usually find myself telling everyone I am fine but inside I am struggling to get it together. I am always happy to see others around me getting pregnant but I also feel broken and wish it was that easy for my husband and I. I just found out Thursday that my second IVF round was unsuccessful and I'm a mess. I feel so useless. I am just glad I've decided to join Dailystrength today so I can talk to others who know exactly what it feels like! :)

You are so right jhesterm. We try to be good positive people. Remind ourselves of all the good things we have in our lives. I have a loving husband, good doggies, loving family but really what good does that do. It doesn't really make me feel better. It actually just makes me feel worse about myself. Reminders of all the good in my life doesn't take the pain away. Doesn't make me feel whole. I still feel broken at the end of the day. Just sayin.
