Ok so the RE put me on the estrogen patch to help build up my lining...of all the drugs I have taken (Clomid, Follistim, trigger) this one is the absolute worst! I am cranky, and exhausted! Anyone else had to take this stuff???

I was first put on Estrace 2mg per day then increased it to twice a day. It was causing me to have migraines EVERY day. I have a history of migraines, but not as much as I was on the estrogen. My RE just put me on a lower dose of estrogen with the Vivelle Patch 0.5 mcg. I have a migraine about every couple of days now. What dose are you on? It certainly does suck, but just think of what the end result will be...a baby!!!!

I have been on the estrogen patch for it seems like forever. I have been on so many different meds I don't know which one is making feel I do.

i will let you know tomorrow i too am on the Vivelle. I quite honestly didn't even look at the dosage he said put this on your abdomen tonight then switch it out every wed/sun until you reach the 16th of april. by then they will have either snuggled in or af will have started. i too have had the headaches, but i can't figure out if it is from the estrogen or the stupid construction (pounding and smell) going on here at work. maybe it's a combo of the 2. UGH! i'm going to go home and go to bed after work

I did not take the patch but I took estragen pills after my IVF. I was on so several drugs so it is hard to pin point which drug was causing me not to feel well.I wasn't exhausted but I was "very cranky"! Hang in there!

I was on 2 patches every other day, then I was on 4, then 6. It made me a crazy lady.

I'm on 2 vivelle patches every other day and 2mg of estrace twice a day. I'm SOOOOO exhausted, no crankiness yet but i'm sure that will come soon.

.1mg per patch of vivelle that i am taking and i switch it out every wednesday and sunday. so i'm not taking nearly what you gals are taking....i must be a wimp when it come to estrogen....but now the boobs hurt too!

I too am on Vivelle .1mg. I started with one every other day and worked up to 4 every other day. I did notice that I was quite sluggish in the evenings and had a little stomach issue with the first morning of 4 patches. I'm always cranky, so I couldn't tell you if that was a side effect or not. I'm on estrogen pills right now (along with progesterone suppositories). I'm definitely cranky and REALLY exhausted. Not sure which hormone is causing the symptoms though.
