Your words are my exact thoughts after my BFN on fresh cycle. I am not sure that is really the plan for me... to go through life without a child of my own. I can not imagine that is what God has in store for me. I will find out tomorrow~ I will pray for your healing. God loves you so much...

You're not alone in that. I go through it as well. Sometimes I worry that maybe God doesn't want me to have children because I could end up being a bad mother. But then the depression wears off and I don't feel that way anymore. I don't think this is the case for either of us. We just have a tougher road than most.

Isn't crazy what IF does to us? I was just telling my mom the other day...'regular' people don't have tho go through the constant self-questioning (is this happening for a reason? Am I meant to be a mom? Will I make a good mom?). And I think it is only natural to question "Is this meant to be" when something you assume will happen in your life (whether it be getting married, buying a house, getting the job you want etc..) doesn't happen.

Our minds can do crazy things to us, but don't let that control your thinking. You are a good, kind, caring person who is doing everything in your power to add to your family.

When I was struggling with IF I also had that thought and was questioning what God had in store for me. I worked with children for years and always kept others children while still wondering when I would hold my own. Now when I look back other things weren't in order and while God was helping me to get those things in order he was also preparing more me for the blessing that I have now.
In some cases I believe that God uses some women that can't concieve to be a blessing to others, to help the less fortunate mothers or to adopt. Even as hard as it may be, because you still want your own.
I hope that as you pray and talk to God that he will answer those questions for you so that you will have a better understanding in his pupose for you. Take care, and I'm here for you.

Those feelings are pretty common. To me, it is like a stage of grief. Every BFN is a loss.

I used to spend a lot of time thinking that I just wasn't meant to have children, but I realized that if I stayed with that thinking for too long then I was setting myself up for failure. It is a constant battle, but I always try to be hopeful and have faith that I will eventually get what I need.

I often feel that too. We are thinking about adopting and I have just nocticed myself even questioning that - maybe I'm IF because I shouldn't be a mum and it wouldn't be fair to adopt. It's crazy what this can do to us and it's true most people don't have to question these things.
The reality is there is no such thing as a perfect parent and we will all make mistakes but we all have so much love to give and will do the best we can. And God just doesn't work like that. If he did then this would be a perfect world where no child was neglected or abused or suffered at the hands of their parents.

I too understand how you feel. I truely believe that if God has placed that desire in your heart, he will fulfill it by His will. I wish sometimes it was my will that would fulfill that, in my time.. but it is Gods time, and who knows what he has in store for you and this journey.. hang in there!
