Hi girls, I was wondering if I should be worried. When we did my DH's first sperm analysis I noticed that when he ejaculated into the little cup it kind of just dribbled out I really didnt think much of it, but then in his next one it was the same. I have always noticed that his penis dribbles during foreplay a bit, but never really paid much attention to it I never really though this was a problem until I read that it could be associated with infertility and maybe even prostate cancer! In his first semen analysis there was a minor problem with viscosity however the next one it was all O.K so I really dont know what to think.
I am really worried as you can imagine. What do you girls think? Do any of your DHs have this problem? Should we be going to the doctors? God this is so confusing!!

my husbands seman doesnt come out at all!!! flows right back into his bladder, yours may have an enlarged bladder neck opening, could be as simple as taking sudafed, what did the urologist say???? has he seen one yet? my husband had this test done they put a tiny camera in to look around, it was really cool to see in color the inside of a penis,and bladder, have your husband take sudafed for a day and see if it propels the sperm.???? and if he hasnt seen a urologist yet, get him an apt. could be an easy fix, good luck

HAHA. I love the honesty! My DH has the same problem. I feel like when we have sex normally the ejacluate is just fine but when he does it in the cup there's just little droplets! He has low count, mobility and morphology so I figured that was why...but when his count went up drastically I didn't notice a change in the volume. So who knows!! I agree, get him into the urologist for sure. But I think if he's had tests that are normal, I think everything should be fine. I wish I had more of an answer for you though! Good luck!

My husband says that sometimes he can feel it shoot out and sometimes it just dribbles out. I looked up a bunch of information about this and it doesn't matter. If your husband has good swimmers, they'll get where they need to go even if they just dribbled out.

your husband may have millions of sperm in his bladder, it may not come all out, like mine it some may flow back into the bladder..... you should ask that he have a seman an. of his ejac. and his urine after ejac..... my husband had to drink 4 alka seltzer tabs 1 hour befor giving a sample, then he would ejac, and then pee into the cup, and walllla millions and millions of sperm, the alka neutralizes the urine so theysperm live.... then they wash it and do the iui, your husband may get a low count in ejac, but have many millions more in the urine..... good luck

I was thinking about your post so I decided to ask my DH if he has any idea why sometimes things come out strong and other times not so much as we have both seen it happen to him as well in the past. My DH said that if it is a good orgasm it usually comes out stronger but he refers to a semen analysis as "being milked" and says it is not a good orgasm so it tends to just dribble out. My DH has a great count and while i don't know that i have ever seen it "dribble" but when he is really into it is defiantly a stronger flow than when he is just so so... I know the dr's office is not the most arousing place to have to produce..... so maybe that is all... I agree with the trying it from home.... at least it is a little sexier...
