Nearly the same exact thing happened to me in December 08. I was only 9 weeks but it was enough to rupture. I lost the tube, and after the doc checked the other tube and found it scarred beyond repair, I lost the hope of ever conceiving naturally again.
I remember being completely devastated. Not only did I lose the first pregnancy I ever had, and my hope for the future, but I was also miserably uncomfortable from the surgery. Since it was Christmas time I decided to make an ornament with 'Our first baby' and the date one it. I needed some tangible evidence that it happened besides the scars, and I liked having something to hold on to when I was sad.
My advice, relax as much as you can, cry when you need to, mourn your loss, and when you are ready, think about your next step.
I'm really sorry about what you have had to go through! But don't give up hope! As difficult as it is you have to stay positive otherwise you will make yourself sick over it. I had an ovary and tube removed a few months ago due to severe endometriosis and I am currently on lupron. Like my doctor said, plenty women are able to conceive with only one, so I'm trying to keep optimistic that it will happen for me when my lupron treatment is over. I just needed some time for it to sink in and try to accept it. Still have bad days when I feel sorry for myself, but also have really good days too. Just give yourself some time to mourn and then start the healing process. I wish you the best of luck and feel free to vent whenever you want!!!
Lots of hugs and prayers for you!
