If I were you I'd try medicated IUIs (with injectables) as they can help mature your follies with the meds - which is why your prognosis for natural is low. If the follies don't mature they don't fertilize.
Unfortunately I have found, as many of the other ladies will attest that NO ONE understands infertility the same way another infertile woman does. Not your family, not your friends, sometimes not even your husband in the beginning. I'm glad you came here - we all understand what you are going through, as we've all been there.
In my case I was of advanced maternal age (40) and my husband was born with a natural vasectomy so IVF is the only ways for us to have children and what gave us our miracle. Research your options, call your insurance and see what they cover. There is even some places with funding.
I'm glad you came here, and good luck!
I feel like I'm running out of time as well. My dr thinks I don't produce healthy eggs, so I was on clomid. I conceived my 4th on on clomid however sadly it passed at 9w1d and I was suppose to be 10 weeks.
I also feel like I will never be able to give the gift of life to a some one, or feel the special feelings of a baby kicking inside me.
I'm angry, I'm angry that not only have I been on this journey for over a year and a half, I hate that my hope are raised and then ripped out of me. I hate that I may never be a mom to someone who is half of me and half of my husband. I hate feeling like I am a failure as a woman, that my body doesn't work like the crack head on the corners does.
That's how I currently feel about the situation. All I can tell you is what is helping me. Our struggle is not in vain, something good will be at the end of this. We will have our babies and we will be the best mommies out there, because we understand the pain and the fear that comes with this journey.
One day, our struggles will be paid off. and until that day, you are in the right group and the women here are very supportive and understand all the emotions that a person can go threw.
I am so sorry that you are facing this and yes you are young but it doesn't change what your body is doing. I think many people are uncomfortable talking about infertility so they use generic responses like "just relax and stop stressing", "it will happen when you least expect it", "you have plenty of time", "enjoy being married, everything changes with kids". Those are all empty statements and frankly I hope to never hear them again! Partly why I have distanced myself from many of my friends, got tired of hearing their empty phrases....
This journey is not for the weak and I can already tell that you are stronger than you know! Hang in there, you deserve your happy ending and I pray that you get it!
((HUGS))
You are definitely in the right place to post!
I am sorry you are going through this...DH and I are at 5 + year of failures after failures. I hope your journey to motherhood is shorter than the one I'm on.
Regarding people, well they are STUPID. When I first came to see my OBJ at age 29, the nurse was so suprice and keep asking me why I am doing that and I am so young and staff like that. Well it took me 4 years and 3 m/c to finally had my child. I am glad I started when I did and I wish I started earlier. Oh also my old OBJ told me when I was 28 weeks pregnant and expresses concern regarding my pregnancy, that my 3 m/c didn't count because they haven't been still born. So basically she didn't consider my embrio as children, but they sure where children to me. So people are cruel and stupid. I am sorry for your pain, but this is a right place to to talk and see help. I found great friends and support here. Good Luck
All im saying is take it from me: if you want it, go for it!....make your plan and execute. I could have saved and got different loans to affors more IVFs over the past 12 yrs.....but i gave up.
