Ding, Ding, Ding... Round 4....

of injectables that is... My dose has been upped since I just had 2 follies last cycle. I am going on 150iu's of Gonal F starting tonight. I was on 75 before. I am a little worried that my side effects will be worse, any thoughts? Here goes nothing... hoping for some nice strong eggs w/out over stimulating (of course).

Good luck to you. I had hyperstimulation my last cycle. Right now I am on 2ww I have to test saturday, but I am feeling cramps like AF is coming soon. Good luck to you. How often do you go fo b/w and u/s to check on your follicles? Also have lots of fluid, gatorade is good.

While it's double what you were on, it's still a relatively low dose. You might have a little bit more of the side-effects, but you should be ok. I was on a TON - 225 of Gonal-F PLUS 3 amps of Menopour daily. I had the side-effects you want to have - like lots of ovarian pressure and then pain - because it was working well and all those nice, plump follicles were making it pretty tight in there!! Everyone's different but I think you should be fine . . . I hope you have nothing but lots of the good side-effects . . . and lots of success!!

They may be a little worse but not too much. My first cycle I used 225 units a day. They lowered my dose for our next few cycles because I used Repronex/Menopur too. If I stay with our current RE then she is bumping me to 300 units of Gonal-F and dropping the Repronex a little.

What I remember from the 225 units was that my ovaries got very full because of all the follicles and it got uncomfortable the closer we got to ER. I had 19 follicles that cycle.

Are you still doing IUI? You will probably respond well to the dose they have you at. Just remember, fuller ovaries usually = more follicles :-) Good luck!
