I have an appointment with Endo Dr. on June 18th (no RE, just good old fashioned blood specialist) I am insisting on being tested for NCCAH (Non-Classical Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia) this is a self diagnosis after not being willing to take "unexplained infertility" for an answer. I'm confused because I had to get copies of all my medical records for this new Dr to have a starting off point. I can't find anywhere in these records where it shows that my Testosterone levels have ever been checked. I would have though that would have been one of the first things that were checked??? So after all of the injections and poking and probing if I have this test run and it shows that I have NCCAH it was all for nothing. Because if I have this I can't get pregnant until it is under control (or at least it is ALMOST impossible, I've learned to never say never in this world) Not sure how much of this little confused thing has made sense, but I'm also going in for some more sclerotherapy tomorrow morning and my nerves are starting to remember tha pain from last time so I'm rambling a little bit. Anyone else think that my testosterone level should have been tested? maybe it has been and i just don't know how to read medical records, but i know how to look for that one word...oh well going to try and get some sleep have to be at the hospital by 7:15 am....
I just recently had my testosterone tested because 8 months ago my fertility nutritionist suggested it. At first I ignored the suggestion because neither RE I had seen thought it necessary. Mine came back normal, but it made me take notice of "normal" E2, which mine was borderline too low. It explained a lot of things for me.
If you are interested in seeking a reason, consider TCM. They have additional diagnostic tests that they can use to identify imbalances that Western medicine often misses. This is just a suggestion, TCM is not for everyone. Many women on here believe in it and many don't. It is whatever you are comfortable with.
I am not familiar with NCCAH, but there are SO many tests. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. I would be happy to share what all I have researched.
