After 2 plus years of doctors, ultrasounds, testing and most recently 3 rounds of clomid and 1 CP, I am still finding it hard to come to terms with my IF Journey. My head knows whats going on but my heart is like deny deny deny! I am afraid that if I accept it, then it will hurt even more than it already does. As long as I can deny this as my reality I can avoid the depression, anger, jealousy etc. But as the months tick on its getting harder and harder to do.....
Not sure if I have lost hope and just expect to always get a BFN now or if I am just being realistic so that I don't get my hopes up to high. I also have delusions that if I just stop worrying about it that BAM it will happen, cause thats what everyone seems to think outside of the IF world! hahaha
I realize that compared to some woman 2 years is nothing, just a fraction of what other women have been dealing with.
I guess I am wondering when other women came to terms and accepted their infertility status and if it made things better or worse. I realize this might be a sensitive topic, so please don't feel pressured to respond.

This is 5 + years for DH and I and I have NOT come to terms with anything. I guess a good way to put it is that some days are better than others, but in the end, we are still frustrated and heartbroken. I blow up (literally yelling and am a mental state) every month around my period because somewhere in the back of my head a miniscule amount of hope has formed...only to be crushed by a/f.
Sorry this isn't more positive and uplifting. But at least now I can look at pregnant women for the miracle they are instead of with jealousy and hatred. So I guess, it gets a little easier, but my sadness is still there.
