Ok so from advice from some of the ladies on here I am looking into ebay for a monitor. There are tons on here, and I am getting very confused. One comes with the monitor and the stix and is $100, you look at another one and it is $30 I am not understanding the difference the all look the same. What am I missing?

Also I have noticed that some of them have been used. Is that ok? It looks like it is cheaper to buy a used one, and then buy a box of sticks separate. I am confused.

Maybe some of them are brand new and come with unopened box of strips. The monitors alone could be sold-why some may only be 30.00. I would check to make sure you can still get testing strips for the monitors. It may be outdated. I use one that comes with 20 small strips that you test everyday with. They are like 20.00 at Walmart. Thay come with a cup and they are in a small pink box sold in family planning section.

Definetley look out for the expiration dates on the strips. Also, I bought one on Ebay and I paid about $110 with a box of strips.

i just recently bought a used one and as long as the monitor has been completely reset you should be good to go!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
