So I just got the call that my beta came back positive!!! My RE likes to see the level at 20 and mine is at 24. With a positive, they also check the estrogen level....RE likes the level to be at least 100 and mine is only 55 so they are starting me on an estrogen patch.
My head is just a mess right now but I am feeling really good!!!
The nurse that called did say we need to be "causiously optimistic". I understand that it is still very early and my numbers pretty much need to double by Monday when I go in for my next BW.
I haven't really done alot of research on the next phase as I was just worried about getting to it....what do the numbers really mean? Should I be really worried? Is 24 a good number?

Congratulations! The following site http://www.betabase.info/showBasicChart.php?type=Single can give you some information about hcg levels. The important fact to remember is that the hcg level should double approximately every 2 days. Good luck for Monday!

Congrats on the Positive!!.... Now it's time for that Baby to GROW!!!! The numbers need to go up..... and keep going up, I believe like fmhope2010 says it needs to double every 2 days!! That is what my doctor told me years ago when I was pregnant..... Please listen to what the doctor tells you!! Thanks for sharing keep us posted!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
