OK so I had my IUI on Friday and we BD all weekend basically.

But what do you think about BDing during your 2ww (after the first few days of course) Do you think it's bad or can hurt implantation or something with the conception if you BD throughout your 2ww?

I dont think it will hurt your chances. What did your nurse say?

I hadn't asked the nurse...but I know they encourage it for several days after your IUI...but then from there on I'm not sure.

ALSO...is it Pinapple juice that is good to help with the conception?

They say drink the pineapple juice before Ov to thicken your lining. It can inhibit implantation if you drink it after OV. That's I read I don't know how true that is. They say it causes the uterus to contract slightly.

Hi there. We have only been told to abstain just before the IUI, for DH's numbers. We have never been advised to not BD after IUI. Have a great 2WW, and of course all my best wishes for BFP!!!

As you know girl I am on my 4th IUI. The first one we bd during the 2ww and then it turnen to a BFN then the 2nd IUI we didn't bd during the 2ww and that turned out to be a BFN....so I don't think it makes a differece. My RE says to go about all normal activities. I wish I knew what to do, what would be best, but what I try to do is have a normal sex life during that 2ww, which means have sex if we want to not because we have to. I hope this helps...kind of rambling. I am praying for you!

It seems that there are differing opinions on this. My RE always said we could BD as much as we wanted during the 2ww but I've read people on here say they were told to abstain.

Also, I've read differing opinions on the pineapple juice too. I think beybey is right - don't drink it after ov.
