Life just sucks dosent it. Its already hard enough with out the government sticking there noses in.

WTF! Are you kidding me? Many couples or women put it off for many reasons, like trying to make sure they have a home and a steady income. Also, there are lots of couples that think "It will happen" and then the years pass before starting all the prerequisites to IVF and then those take a long time.

This is so ridiculous and sad.

I live in Australia & am over 40 (43 to be exact) & doing IVF. I was appauled when I heard this news. Lifes hard enough when you are over 40 & struggling with infertility but to then have the Government step in & put your only chance of having a baby out of reach thats just cruel. I am hoping that the Government rethink their approach as it would cause alot of heart ache for many couples who would make great parents.

People that think like this (headline) have no idea. What we need are some really strong women fighting for our cause and putting the real story in the headlines.

Yeah Lioness! and I didn't even meet my DH until I was 34, got married at 37 and started trying at 38. Now I am 40.
