We are starting our first round of artificial insemenation. I was just wondering if any of you have done this and could give me some advice, what to expect, things you went through. We are kind of nervous.

Don't be nervous. It is a breeze. After they wash your DH sperm, they place it in a catheter and just like a pap test, use a speculum and insert the catheter and your done. You just need to lay there for about 20 mins and then you are good to go. You will have mild cramping and may spot a little, but it's not bad. Good Luck

Nothing to be nervous about. It is very simple (and exciting). Sometimes you can feel the pressure of the cathetar or maybe a bit of cramping, but that is it. It is very quick. Then you rest for a bit and are on your way. Good Luck!

It isn't bad at all,,also called IUI.....the biggest shock to me was that it was so quick, but cost so much....

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
