Just need to vent. First off, I'm a newborn and family photographer. So, I see newborns and families often ... a year ago I LOVED photographing newborns, now I dread it. I'm sure you could all relate.

I just had a close friend of mine (also a client) ... I photographed her 2 year old son and did family photos, and she just stopped by to pick up her pictures. AND then she tells me that she's 12 weeks pregnant. I said congratulations and she said "thanks ... we weren't trying, we wanted to wait a little longer before trying for a second ... but I guess not"

Luckily she only stayed for a minute because I really didn't want to talk to about it. This is my second close friend who told me their pregnant this month! The first one, it was their honeymoon baby, and they conceived the first month they tried, and the second, well ... they weren't trying at all.

It just seems so unfair. UGH! Another client of mine is scheduled for a c-section tomorrow, and then I'll set up her newborn session in 5-7 days. It just doesn't get any easier. I'm seriously thinking about stopping photography for a while, because it's just TOO hard!
