I cannot believe this is happening again. AF started 1/14. It was very heavy full flow. It lasted the normal amount of days. Last week we had our IVF consult. I am scheduled to start Lupron next Wednesday. Then today I started spotting. I never spot mid cycle unless I am pg. So, I tested and got a BFP with a generic test. I then tested again with a First Response and got another BFP. Both of these tests were in the middle of the day, not the morning. I just know that this is not going to turn out good. How could it when I had a heavy AF 2 weeks ago? I'm so irrirated and mad that this keeps happening to me. Why don't my pregnancies ever stick? This will be my 3rd Chemical Pg and my 5th m/c total.

I called the RE and the nurse told me to come in for a beta in the morning. I told her I thought it was another chemical pg and she said that regardless I have to come in for a beta.

Part of me a little excited that maybe in some strange way I had AF but was still pg. But, the realistic side of me knows that this is going to be the same old thing...another loss.

Excuse my ignorance, but how can you be sure that things will be bad? Trust me, I am on the roller coaster ride myself.

I guess the optimist in my wants to believe that you will get a positive result. However, you know your body better than I do. If things do go poorly. I am sorry for the outcome. I just want to see someone have a positive outcome--even if it is not me.

Thank you both for your positive thoughts. Hopeful35 - I'm almost sure this is bad because it is exactly the same thing that happened the last time I had a "chemical" pregnancy. It's like a pattern that I can't get out of. It's so frustrating!

I bleed a lot with my pregnancy with Lily and she came out just fine. Be excited for a minute and hopefully the betas will show that you are getting your little bundle. I am praying for you hon.

Try to stay positive. I thought I had my period, but was actually pregnant. I felt a little different so I took the test and it was positive. I was shocked and scared. I continued to spot for 3 long weeks. Now I'm 8 weeks pregnant and the spotting finally stopped. It is possible so try to stay positive. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Im sorry to read this. I had 3 chemicals as well with 4 miscarriages and 2 other losses. I don't know why the pregnancies don't stick. i've had every single test done in the book to find out and found out nothing at all.
i take 3mg extra folic acid along with my prenatal.

i hope everything works out for you. :)
