So...I start this "journey" about five years ago. I was diagnosed with PCOS and had absolutely no clue on what it was or what to do about it. I joined this site about three years ago after 4 failed IUIs. I tried clomid but it didn't work. I have spent thousands of dollars on medications that didn't work at all. I am really thinking about ivf but I can't afford it. I know people say you can take out a loan...but I'm scared that will put me further in debt than I am currently. DH tries to stay positive but he isn't really helping me at all. Everytime I turn around...someone I know or friends are coming up pregnant. My BF got pregnant with her son and less than a year later...her daughter was born. I want to shoot someone! I know I should be happy for her...but how can I? Everytime I turn on the news...I hear about someone misstreating or killing their child. What is wrong with this world? Why are there so many good people that want to have a child can't and then all the bad ones...keep popping out kids and don't take care of them....where is the logic!!!
Thanks for listening!

i know how u feel. i used to be soo happy for people when they would get pregnant but now its just an overwhelming experience of jealousy..i hate feeling like this. im tryin to plan my wedding and i am really happy doing that but i want a baby...its just stressful.i dont even want to have sex with my fiance anymore because then i know there isnt a chance that im pregnant. if we have sex then i get my period i cry and feel soo sad. ive thrown myself into being at work 12 hr days and very long work weeks so im soo tired that if i wanted to have sex im too tired anyways!

I know how you feel, its so hard and people just don't get how damn hard it is. I have friends who have just had teir second child and its so hard to feel happy for them. I have PCOS too and awaiting ivf in the next few months as I was diagnosed with 'unexplained infertility'. We've been trying for 3 yrs now so i'm trying to hang on to the small chance that ivf will work. Try and focus your energies on you and don't waste them on others:-)

I know how you feel. My cousin just announced she is pregnant and as everyone else was jumping for joy and hugging her, i felt betrayed. i hate that i feel this way, but have to say i'm happy i'm not alone! I guess with time - this will get easier?!?!

Hi Leciag, I just wanted to provide some support because I know how you are feeling oh too well! Quite a few of my friends are pregnant right now, but I find strength and peace with God and I believe He has a plan for us all and do not get discouraged. It may appear that way that "we" are the only ones battling infertility but trust me when I go to my fertility clinic I see I am not the only one. Just don't give up and remember you are not alone!
