Ok- I am gearing up for my 1st IVF cycle. We are doing all the preliminary testing etc. So far things are ok. My DH got a call from the RE to come back and give another semen sample in 2-3 weeks because he had an "ok" result and they just want to check again... I got all upset about it today. I know that the RE has things under control, but it's like I am worried about every little thing. I want everything PERFECT- HA! Is it normal to stress about every step of this process? Help!

I think it is normal to stress about every little thing but I am a stresser! I think that there is something to worry about at every stage of this...money to pay for it, getting the meds, the monitoring, mixing the meds, are the meds working, on and on (I don't want to freak you out) but the conclusion I finally came to was that I HAD to let go - there is only so much you can control (actually very little). Trust your doctors - this is what they do. You can't really mess anything up and they have a solution for any problem. You are completely normal! This is stressful but take a deep breath, think positively and try to relax (easy for me to say!)

I completly understand how you're feeling. If this cycle didn't work I will be on to IVF and I'm stressing big time. I'm so worried about everything. I think it's normal. We're about to charter into unknown territory. Best of luck to you. Keep us posted.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
