AF is in FULL FORCE!!!!

Ughhh...OK so it's been over a month since I was "told" I was miscarrying. About a month since D & C and almost 3 weeks since the shot for my ectopic. AND yesterday and today AF has been full force! Worse then I think I've ever had my whole life (I'm not a heavy AF person at all ever really) I am in so much pain and feeling so exhausted today. I was suppose to go for blood work again this morning to check what my hsg level is now. That is slowlllyyyy going down which is so frustrating!

So I wonder and maybe you can help me...do you think because I'm having a heavy AF, that maybe my hcg has finally returned to normal? As of last Monday it was still at 45. And had only gone down from 61 the Wed. before that.

I have even been getting a lot of clotting coming out...at one point it kind of scared me yesterday.

So what are your thoughts? I will try to go after work for my blood work, if not then for sure tomorrow! And hope that this AF let's up a little...cause it's making me a little sick to my stomach today.

I would venture to say that it may very well be. I am sorry you got AF but at least this way your another step closer to TTC again!

I would definately think this is a good sign even tho it does suck that it is so heavy. Just think that it is getting your body ready to start trying again. YAY! Just take care of yourself...you and your body have been thru a lot!

I am sorry this has been so difficulty for you. HUGS!

When I miscarried my HCG level plummeted right before it started, and continued to lower throughout. It was pretty physically and emotionally exhausting. Hopefully you get through this quickly and your levels drop as rapidly as mine did.

Try and take it as easy as you can. Sending you positive thought and prayers.

Im sorry Mere! I wish I could take that pain away from you. Yes, it sounds like a lonnnng process, but maybe your body is healing and getting ready to host a nice healthy baby next round! I wish you the best and please know that it will get better.

I would look at this as nature's way of CLEANING YOU OUT and preparing your body to try again. I agree with Suazete too that this is likely a good sign that your HSG just plummetted and you will be able to breathe a sigh of relief that this portion of your struggle is BEHIND YOU and you can begin healing, resting, and preparing mentally for trying again.

It is very normal for your first AF following a m/c to be extremely heavy with lots of clots. I am sorry you have to go through this...

I normally get really heavy AF with lost of pain (I normally spend a whole day nocked out on medication) and clotting (sorry TMI I know!!) so to me what you are describing is pretty normal and though you dont normally get a heavy AF, after what your body has gone through I would think that this would be a normal outcome. Try to rest and maybe get your blood work done tomorrow. I find it best to rest for a day when AF is this heavy...
