acupuncture + stimulation

I am currently having acupuncture treatment (1x per week) in the hopes that it will help with my IVF that will be mid-January.

The other day, the acupuncturist told me she wants to start doing some sort of electric stimulation in combonation with the acupuncture.
That didn't sound too good to me.

I am all in facor of the traditional needles, but I have never heard of this stimulation in combination with the traditional treatment.

Does anyone have experience with this or has anyone even heard of this?

I never did it for fertility, but do it for pain, nerve & muscle issues.

I am doing acupuncture, too and I have an appointment at 3pm today. I will ask my acupuncturist what that is and what it means and if he recommends it. I've never heard of it either. It sounds like it hurts and those needles are enough for me!!!!

I did that for my 2nd IVF.
It does not hurt at all...but I am not sure what is the purpose of it.
The doc. just put a little batterie machine on two of your needles from your tummy. I was kind of sore after the first time, but it really do not hurt at all! Good luck!

Where do you get the needles? I haven't gotten any in my stomach? My feet, leg, hand, ears and wrist. About 20 in all. But none in my stomach?

Really! Not on your stomach!
I got like an happy face made with neddles on my styomach evberytime I did acupunture.
I got also needles on my ears, legs, between the tumb and the index finger, and after the ET I just got some on the top of my head!

My acupuncturist did the electric stim one time prior to my retrieval (I respond well to the drugs, so she didn't want me to over stim). She also does more of the traditional Chinese way of doing acupuncture where the limbs are where the needles are placed, but she did a few on my stomach prior to retrieval.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
