Sorry acupuncture go to expensive for you, if it wasn't offered free at my health clinic I would not be able to afford it either. I wanted to share a technique that my acupuncturists shared with me when he was going on vacation so I could continue my treatment while he was away. He says that this technique is as powerful as the needles and it is an alternative to getting weekly needle treatments.
Get some Moxa rolls (Joss sticks) from your acupuncturist, or Amazon, The Pure Moxa brand is what I get from my acupuncturist.
* Take a string and measure your closed mouth corner to corer.
*Take the measured piece of string and form a triangle with it.
*Place the top of the triangle at the bottom of your belly button. The points of the triangle are your fertility points.
*At these fertility points, slightly warm with the lit Moxa stick.
I do this every morning, except on the Fridays which are the days I have my needle treatments!! If you have any questions feel free to ask!! Hope this helps!!!

Does your insurance cover naturopathy, chiropractic or massage therapy? Often times these professionals use a combination of treatments including acupuncture. Although acupuncture isn't covered under my insurance (neither are IF treatments) my massage therapist does a combination of massage and acupuncture and she also recently added some aspects of Reiki into my treatment. All of these things help to reduce stress and promote overall health and seeing how you felt the benefits of acupuncture in the past maybe seeking these alternatives may work? Good luck to you!
