WOW! I am really surprised this is on DS. I loved the fact that DS was about support, positivity, and everything good. I honestly thought this sight was the best thing ever. Now I am wondering?? This topic makes me feel so uncomfortable. I come to DS to feel better, not to read hate replies about political views. I honestly got really tense reading this. Ladies, I am at the befinning of my journey and want to continue to be here, but this is the first thing that has me apprehensive.

I have to say that I agree w/CMjoseph and LucyQ. This is not the place for a topic on abortion. I have been coming here for two years for support on my infertility not for everyones political views on abortion.

All I am going to say is that this is a support site for whatever our views are. People post stuff here that I don't believe in so I just choose to not comment on it. Pro life and Pro Choice should be able to get support here.

Again, this is an INFERTILITY support group. Maybe you're in the wrong room if you're looking to discuss abortion. People going through infertility do not need the stress of such a strongly emotional political topic - whatever their beleifs are. Find another room.

I do not think that others who feel like I do are wanting to shut anyone up or want anyone to stifle their views. The very great thing about DS is that anyone can start a group about just about anything. I think that there are those who will agree with me that this is a very hard time for all of us. We want nothing more than to conceive or like myself become a mom for the first time. I really have become a little dependent on this group for advice and support pertaining to my infertility issues. Please ladies, let's keep the supportive, positive atmosphere that I have grown to love. Sticky baby dust to all of us!!!! It is the year of the BFPs!!!!!!!!

Wow. I thought this site was for people who just want to offer each other support through the emotional rollercoaster that is infertility. I would only choose to post words of encouragement here. I agree - find another room.
